About the Role

The Town of Brookline is seeking a skilled and dependable Fleet Technician (also referred to as a Motor Equipment

Repairperson or Heavy Motor Equipment Mechanic) to join our Department of Public Works. The Fleet Technician plays a key

role in maintaining safe, reliable vehicles and equipment for the Department of Public Works and other Town departments.

Responsibilities Diagnose and repair gas and diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment, including hydraulic systems,

brakes (air and hydraulic), suspension, transmission, steering, fuel and electrical systems Perform routine preventive

maintenance such as oil changes, fluid checks, lubrication, and safety inspections Conduct field repairs and respond to
