Groundskeeper
About the Role
Essential Job Functions: • Assures that the grounds are well-groomed and free of trash, debris and hazards. • Assures
that walkways are clean and clear of hazards. • Maintains landscape plantings as directed by the Department Supervisor.
• Assists during winter months, with snow and ice removal efforts. • Maintains outside water hoses and equipment as
directed. • Maintains the appearance of outdoor signs, parking lot lines, center road lines and direction-oftravel
indicators. • Maintains and washes all tractors, mowers, snow blower and other outdoor vehicles and equipment to insure
they are in good working order. • Identifies and replaces dead or diseased plantings as directed by supervisor. •
